What’s better than one amazing Graider of the month? Two, of course! We are pleased to announce our May Graiders of the Month, Rachel Zgabay and Shelby Islet. Both rising sophomores at Tarleton State, Rachel and Shelby are best friends and aspiring high school teachers. Read on to learn more about these two charming, talented young ladies.

Oby graduated from Emory University this May with a degree in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology. She is currently enrolled in a postbaccalaureate Biomedical Science Masters program at Wake Forest, and she’ll be applying for medical school in the fall. And if that isn't impressive enough, she also found time this spring to join The Graide Network, quickly became a top-performing and versatile Graider.
Becca is a junior at the University of Chicago who is currently studying poverty and education in Spain at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona. Becca is majoring in Comparative Human Development and Public Policy. UChicago doesn’t offer an education degree, but that didn’t stop Becca from pursuing her passion.
